About the Therapist.
With many years in the industry, Akhtar understands the social environment and mental stress we have become burdened with and the due impact this has on our health.
As a Sports Therapist and a Psychologist catering a service that is tailored to meet the client's requirements and discussing each individual respectfully as a person to aid the support being provided is essential for all our well-being and harmonisation.
The authentic Eastern style of approach has existed for over 5000 years and is a comprehensive medical system with its principles, diagnostic methods and therapies viewing each symptom as a whole piece of work unique to a person. Bespoke for every visit.

Akhtar has gained specialist knowledge developed to support chronic musculoskeletal conditions and poor posture due to repetitive lifestyle habits of social environments that have made us all accustomed to.

Established in 2010 fully qualified and insured, actively continuing professional development by attending courses to better and widen my experience to support those that require my assistance.
​
Akhtar will start the session with a brief consultation to address any concerns or questions before the session and end the session with the modalities from the Sports Therapist with beneficial feedback such as recommendations for stretches or training weaker groups of the body to recondition muscular development.
​
Akhtar has supported active athletes and professionals taking advantage of the treatments for him to assess any particular neglected or weaker regions of the client’s body that need improving or for an overall treatment for recovery to maintain the optimal level of fitness.

Having supported many people with short to long-term limitations and injuries improving their physical health and mental well-being with treatments that have been shown to reduce stress and anxiety improving mood, and better sleeping patterns boosting energised and refreshing outcomes.

Some of the professional and hobbyist sporting individuals Akhtar has supported include weight lifters, bodybuilders, swimmers, tennis players, rugby players, cyclists, volleyball, indoor and outdoor football and combat movements such as martial arts or grappling are amongst the many.
